- Pepco Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: POM) is one of the largest energy-delivery companies in the Mid-Atlantic region. Formed by the merger of Pepco and Conectiv, PHI delivers about 50,000 gigawatt-hours of power annually to more than 1.8 million customers in Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey and Virginia.
- Progress Energy (NYSE: PGN), headquartered in Raleigh, N.C., is a Fortune 250 diversified energy company with more than 24,000 megawatts of generation capacity and $9 billion in annual revenues. The company's holdings include two electric utilities serving more than 2.9 million customers in North Carolina, South Carolina and Florida. Progress Energy also includes nonregulated operations covering competitive generation, energy marketing, natural gas production and fuel extraction. Progress Energy is the 2005 recipient of the prestigious J.D. Power and Associates Founder's Award for dedication, commitment and sustained improvement in customer service.
- Duke Energy (NYSE: DUK), is a diversified energy company with a portfolio of natural gas and electric businesses, both regulated and unregulated, and an affiliated real estate company. Duke Energy supplies, delivers and processes energy for customers in the Americas. Headquartered in Charlotte, N.C., Duke Energy is a Fortune 500 company traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol DUK. - North Carolina Electric Membership Corporation (NCEMC) consists of a family of corporations formed to support the state's 27 electric cooperatives. Together, these organizations serve more than 2.4 million North Carolinians and who live through 58% of the state's land area.
- Dominion (NYSE: D), is one of the nation's largest producers of energy. The company's asset portfolio consists of about 26,500 megawatts of power generation, 6,000 miles of electric transmission, about 6.3 trillion cubic feet equivalent of proved natural gas reserves, 7,800 miles of natural gas pipeline and the nation's largest natural gas storage system, with about 950 billion cubic feet of storage capacity. Dominion also serves retail energy customers in 11 states. Corporate headquarters are in Richmond, Va.
- ECO Technology Solutions (ECOTS) is a technology facilitation company located in Leesburg, Virginia. It specializes in developing, managing and deploying the best new energy and energy-related technologies that focus on conservation and distributed generation. ECOTS was originally formed by the electric cooperative industry and now has evolved into a privately-owned company with expertise and experience in distributed generation systems, new technology development, product testing, new product market introductions, electric utilities, and community-driven energy programs.
